Exactly how I felt at the start of our Lost Isle Journey! After working with some start-up fashion brands I knew i wanted to help make a change in the world of fast fashion by using natural or recycled resources. Research into recycled fashion left me feeling deflated (more on that another time) so i set about talking to farmers, independent yarn producers and crafters, who made me feel excited about wool, specifically British wool.

I came across the RE:DIRECTORY and the wonder woman behind the brand: Lee.

The directory was created to help us look at more sustainable lifestyle choices. Showcasing brand who are working towards making a ‘positive impact on people and planet’ & values we aline with.

Most are made in the UK using natural materials.

Knowledge and growth both huge words at Lost Isle HQ. We are constantly learning and improving. The Re:Directory social and website has a great page on charities and educational resources that are useful for learning more about the sustainable changes we can all easily make.
